Hello, I am Alessandra Ferrucci. I am 20 year old girl who never outgrew her "I love for horses!" stage of life.
I grew up in a small town in Connecticut, USA with nothing but a big dream and a ton of ambition. Ever since the age of 12 dressage had become my life, I devoted everything to it. It became my life goal to master this ancient art and share it with others. I moved to Wellington, Florida in 2016 to pursue my dressage career and train with some of the top trainers in America.
I showed on renowned dressage horse, Sagacious HF. and we had a successful 2018-19 show season at Young Riders. Together we competed at CDI's with scores up to the 70's gaining us a spot to go to Gotham FEI North American Youth Championships with Region 3. Ultimately, gaining us a bronze team medal! We finished our partnership at the U25 Grand Prix with a 67+% before his retirement.
Patience is a virtue. Horses, similarly to most humans, require tender care, patience, consistency and wisdom to know what to ask of them and what is too difficult at that moment. They respond to kindness, thrive on challenges and rejoice in victory.
I would love nothing more but to help people with their horses and inspire them to take on this sport and join me in the joy it brings myself and others!
I believe that everything great comes with time, patience and compassion. I am a firm believer of classical training and that every horse and rider is to proceed at their own will and pace. This means that every horse/person that I work with gets their own personalized training program. This could mean one horse may require more in hand education to teach proper self balance while others might find the basics simple and be able to move up faster. Either way, at AMVA Dressage there is no such thing as force and abuse as that is against my beliefs and is not tolerated within my program.
