Here at Serenity Equine we specialize in equilibration. What is equilibration you ask? It is the art of making equal or creating balance. Our end goal for every horse is to not only remove sharp points but to maximize your horses dentition so they have the ability to masticate their food into their old age. Additionally, balancing their incisors and cheek teeth arcades will help maximize their lateral excursion and caudal rostral movement which is crucial to their ability to masticate efficiently.
We recommend on seeing your horse every 6-12 months depending on their age and their state of dentition. Having your horse get regularly examined by a Certified Equine Dentist allows them to be checked for fractures, caries, malocclusions and other dental abnormalities that can cause issues in the future.
