Alessandra initially started her training with her mother, Valerie Ferrucci, doing the Arabian Horse circuit in 2004-2011. This entailed, Nationally Rated showing in showmanship classes, trail, dressage, and hunter flat classes. Alessandra won many Regional Championships with AHA on her beloved childhood horse Espresso NA+/.
As Alessandra grew older, she urged for there to be more than just walk/trot/canter in a circle. This led her to where it all began, Frazier Farm. In 2011 Valerie brought Alessandra to a schooling show at the towns local eventing barn to talk to Corinne Gagnon, owner and trainer, about doing lessons and camps. Corinne took in the little 4'6, 10 year old girl that had no idea what she was in for. Corinne taught her the most valuable lessons for a young kid - hard work, getting back up and to keep trying. Jumping ponies and galloping through fields became her new favorite thing. Alessandra would get bucked off school pony, Tinkerbell aka Stinkerbell, on a daily basis. Over time, Alessandra became more and more fond of the dressage portion of eventing to the point that she decided it was the path she wanted to take at the young age of 12.
She began her official Dressage training and showing with Katja Eilers at White Bridge Farm, Litchfield, CT in 2012/2013 on her Arabian horse, Espresso. While also earning rides on the barns schoolmasters , including riding Winterstern 6 owned by "Sex and the City'" author, Candace Bushnell.
In 2014-2015, Alessandra moved to
Helsingborg, Sweden part time to train with Camilla Hulth, student of Jan Brink, on her first young horse Scharlon, 17hh 5 year old SWB. While not in Europe (or finishing her high school diploma) she worked with with Alison Gwen Famiglietti, student of Jacqueline Brooks, training on a Friesian known as Boudewijn and a paint pony named Isabella.
In mid 2015, Scharlon returned with Alessandra to her home in Woodbury, CT from Sweden. When coming back she worked with Camilla Marie Christiansen, Norwegian Young Rider Champion, friend of Camilla Hulth and student of Jan Brink.
Soon after returning home Alessandra was offered to be a working student for 6 months training with Carlos Munoz Cantos in Sansepolcro, Italy at breeding farm Fonte Abeti. Another opportunity for education that couldn't be refused. While in Italy, Camilla C. continued on with Scharlon while she was gone.
When returning back to America, mid summer of 2016, she was esthetic to be reunited with her horse and try all of her new knowledge out.
Come the winter of 2016, Camilla C. had returned back to Sweden and Alessandra set her sights on Wellington, FL.
While figuring out on just how to do it she had British trainer, Louisa Eadie help her keep Scharlons training going.
By December after carefully looking through options and recommendations she moved down to Wellington to train with Caroline Roffman who she trained with all the way through the summer of 2018. While working as a groom and working student over the years.
She rode Sagacious HF of Hyperion Farms, owned by Al Guden, and trained under Petra Hofmann from early 2018 to late 2019 competing in Young Riders and the U25 Grand Prix
